
Burger-Inspired Pasta Salad

- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup mayo
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
- 2 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 cups shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup chopped dill pickle spears
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters
- 1/2 cup finely diced onions
- 3 tbsp. toasted sesame seeds (optional)
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package directions. Drain, then rinse under cold water until elbow macaroni is cooled. Set aside.
- In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef, breaking up the chunks into crumbles. Season with salt and pepper while cooking. Drain off any fat and set aside to cool.
- Make the dressing by combining the mayo, ketchup, pickle relish, yellow mustard, onion powder, paprika, and garlic powder. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, toss together the elbow macaroni, ground beef, dressing, lettuce, shredded cheddar, dill pickles, cherry tomatoes, onions, and toasted sesame seeds (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well coated in the dressing.
- Chill until ready to enjoy.
