Total Time: 32 minutes
Serves: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning mix
- 1 (15-ounce) bag restaurant-style white corn tortilla chips
- 1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1 cup finely shredded taco-style cheese blend
- 2 cups restaurant-style salsa
- 1 cup sour cream
- Chopped fresh cilantro, for garnish
How to Make:
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Heat Dutch oven over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking up into small crumbles, until cooked through and browned, about 5 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- Add taco seasoning and water and simmer until mixture has thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove beef from oven and set aside.
- Clean Dutch oven and spread a layer of tortilla chips over bottom. Top with half of ground beef mixture and 1 cup of cheddar cheese shreds.
- Top evenly with another layer of tortilla chips, remaining ground beef and remaining cheese.
- Bake until cheese is melted and bubbling at the edges, about 10-12 minutes.
- Let nachos cool slightly before topping with salsa and dollops of sour cream. Garnish with cilantro and serve.
