
Little Paws Big Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (16.5-ounce) deluxe confetti cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 2 (16-ounce) cans creamy vanilla frosting
- 1 (1.2 fl oz) assorted food color & egg dye
- Sprinkles
How to Make
- With help from a grown-up, prepare your confetti cake just like the package says, using eggs, oil and water. Bake 2 batches in an 8 or 9-inch cake pan. Meanwhile, mix both cans of frosting with just 4 drops of red food coloring to make it pink and set it aside.
- Once they’re fully cooled, remove the cakes from the pans and cut each one in half horizontally – you should now have four thin cake rounds. Set one layer aside for the top of your cake.
- Using a small round cookie cutter, cut a hole in the center of three cake rounds. Place one layer on a serving dish and spread it with a layer of your colored frosting. Repeat this process for the next two layers.
- Spoon the sprinkles into the center hole of your cake, and top with the final cake layer. Frost the outside of the cake and decorate it with more sprinkles if you like. Have an adult help cut the cake and reveal the sprinkle surprise inside!
